Breeding Obectives

Our objective at Francs Angus is to provide well balanced cattle that are low maintenance and easy handling. Cattle have to be docile and structurally sound. We are in the business of breeding cattle first and foremost. Figures and EBU’s are used in the selection of sires and we are using the latest HD 50K Geonomic Testing on all bulls.

We look for balanced figures in both growth and carcass, Phenotype and structure is our Number 1 priority. We have been using A.I. since the 1980s to enhance genetic gain, utilizing both Australian and overseas sires that we believe will benefit our herd.

We are a family run operation that doesn’t follow fads or the latest trends, after 64 years in the industry we believe we do most things right.
